FATAL ACCIDENT AT PONDA, 1 DEAD ON THE SPOT

PONDA In a fatal road accident near Ponda Municipality, wherein a two-wheeler collided with a tanker, Suresh Bhaktha, a residence of Mardol and native of Mangalore has succumbed to injuries. The exact reason of accident is not known. The deceased Suresh was 51 years A further police investigation is in progress.

LEOPARD CUB COMES UNDER CAR AT MAYEM; SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES

MAYEM A female leopard cub was hit by a car at Kelbai-Mayem last night. Member of Animal Rescue Squad Amrut Singh said that the locals tried to keep the cub alive but she succumbed before the rescue team reached the spot. Keri Regional Forest Officer was later informed about the incident and the body was taken for further process.
