Goa’s Anura Prabhudesai clinched Bronze at the All India Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament, 2017, at Guntur in Andhra Pradesh.

Goa Table Tennis Association (GTTA) under the aegis of Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) organised a Table Tennis National Umpires Certification Course at Bambolim Beach Resort, Bambolim. The course was conducted by N. Ganeshan, competition manager (International Table Tennis Federation of India) and joint chairman of technical committee (TTFI). 26 participants attended and completed the one day clinic which was held on October 3. GOA: GOA TO HOST ALL INDIA SUB-JUNIOR RANKING BADMINTON
Goa Badminton Association in collaboration with Margao Shuttlers Club and the Sports Authority of Goa will be hosting an All India Sub-Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament from October 9 to 15, 2017. The championship will be held in singles and doubles categories for boys and girls in Under 13 and Under 15 age groups.

Dempo Sports Club registered a solitary goal victory over FC Pune City to move into the final of the 1st AWES Cup, organised by Association for the Wellbeing of Elder Sportspersons and Dempo Sports Club Juniors, at Duler Football Stadium, Mapusa, on Thursday.

Porvorim (Goa) After Vidarbha Cricket Association, the Goa Cricket Association (GCA) became the second cricketing body in the country to adopt a resolution to consider and approve its proposed new constitution as per the recommendations of the Lodha Committee.
