While 13 out of 16 Congress MLAs arrived at Raj Bhavan today to meet Governor Mridula Sinha and stake claim to form the government, the BJP described the Congress’ claim to form the government in Goa as a stunt, and said the opposition party’s dream to come to power will never materialise.

Congress chief Chandrakant Kavlekar said that the party will stake claim by submitting to Governor Mridula Sinha a formal letter containing signatures of all the 16 MLAs that the party has now.

Speaking to media persons BJP state unit president Vinay Tendulkar said that the Congress had a chance to form the government after the 2017 Assembly results which they lost due to their own mistakes.
