CONGRESS WILL ABOLISH ALL AMENDMENTS IN TCP ACT ONCE IN POWER: CHODANKAR

PANAJI

Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) president Girish Chodankar has said that the Congress party will abolish all amendments in TCP acts made by the present government once they come into power.

Chodankar warned people against conversion of land and also said that the people should not make the mistake of investing money to get the land converted as the Day Congress party comes to power it will withdraw all the amendments for case-to-case basis and TDR policy.

“The Congress party is also ready to approach the court in the interest of Goa and to protect the Goan land. This is not the way the government should proceed wherein the authority is given to only a handful of people,” said Chodankar.

“The entire population of Goa is against this with exception of few individuals who have vested interests in converting the land,” added Chodankar.
