“Ever since the CM has left the country to undergo medical treatment, the coalition government has failed to address various issues such as mining shutdown and employment,” said Congressman Ramakant Khalap in a press conference today.

Speaking to the media persons Khalap further said that the coalition government, i.e BJP, MGP and GF still have the numbers on their side and they should elect a new leader.

“If the existing government is not in a position to elect a new leader, it is the responsibility of the Governor to see that a new party is allowed to stake a claim for the formation of the government with a new leader,” added Khalap.

The Congress MLAs have also demanded to scrap all PDAs and have asked TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai to act on his verbal commitment.

Yes that’s right. All PDAs should be scrapped and clean governance is badly required. The destruction of Goa – hills, fields (landfilling), concretisation of beach areas must be stopped immediately and anyone caught flouting these norms should be heavily penalised
