MAHILA CONGRESS DEMANDS SENIOR RANE TO APOLOGISE FOR HIS COMMENTS

Congress has condemned comments made by their senior leader Pratapsingh Rane on Goans working abroad. Though the comment has been facing major outrage on all platforms, senior Rane has opted to remain silent. GPCC had earlier announced it to be Rane’s personal view and comment, but now Mahila Congress has demanded an apology from Rane.

Mahila Congress President Pratima Coutinho has demanded that senior Congress leader Pratapsinghshould admit his mistake and apologise to all those Goans working abroad. “Mahila Congress is hurt by the statement made by our senior leader Pratapsingh Rane and with all humility we apologise to the people working abroad and their dependents,” she said.

“We humbly request our senior leader to admit the mistake and apologize to the people of Goa for hurting their sentiments,” Coutinho said.
