TNV: When and how did you begin modelling? Were you studying or working before then?
SZ: I began modelling about 4 years back. I was a fat kid before and I used to see fitness models took up the challenge and lost weight in 3 months. That’s when I first got a offer from modelling agency called magnum opus for their runway show I was studying in Rajiv Gandhi institute of technology, I was also Working in Azuga Telematics software company
TNV: Why modelling when you could have settled in for a more stable permanent career?
SZ: I am tall and carry that right attitude and also have got some decent looks which made me realize that I am not a corporate industry material. I thought I have right potential to be a model and earn some good money from the same. Modelling is all about bettering yourself. So I have worked in betterment of my modelling skills rather than working in a corporate from 9-6 everyday.
TNV: Tell me about your first assignment. if any How did it happen? What was the experience like ?
SZ: My first assignment was when I got a call to walk for magnum opus. I had been called by an Australian director Stanley Joseph to work in one of his movie project. I was really happy and excited to be a part of it. It was an English movie it was based on Indian culture, what better I could ask for when I got such wonderful opportunity. We started shooting for it’s teaser trailer and everything went well. The trailer was released on YouTube with movie name being boundaries world pictures Australia. Due to some personal reasons, our director had to leave to Australia and that movie project went on a hold. Still got to learn a lot of things during the shoot. Facing the lens and other things. Even though movie couldn’t start I liked the experience of shooting for it. This would keep me well prepared for any upcoming projects that I may get by God’s grace.
TNV: What do you feel makes you a good model? Your face? Your body? Your attitude? As opposed to others?
SZ: I feel a good model is not only about having looks. I would say my right attitude, my humbleness and straight forward nature makes me a good model. Having a good body and face is always important. But I believe what separates you from others is your down to earth nature that people should appreciate.
TNV: Why Rubaru Mr India when there is so many local pageants happening ?
SZ: Rubaru Mr India is not just a glorious pagaent. But it’s a brand. It’s one of the oldest pagaents in the country We have some great personalities like Bala sir , Pardeep khera and lot of others super models who have been groomed by Rubaru. It would be a dream to be a part of such brilliant pagaent of the country. Specially VP Pankaj Sir is been of great help since Rubaru Mr south India 2019. I have learnt a lot of things just in one meet with that person. Looking forward to learn more.
TNV: Did Mr. India just happen to you along the way – or were you preparing to take part in the pageant?
SZ: I have been preparing for Mr India from almost 2 years In 2016 I just went for auditions and got through in BangaloreBut couldn’t make it in Mumbai. After that I decided to wake up every morning with goal being Mr India
TNV: Tell us about how you train for it. What is the regimen like? What are the challenges involved?
SZ: Every morning I wake up and go empty stomach to gym which is hardest part to lift without any food in Stomach I do this to burn maximum fat and enhance my muscle growth. I follow a strict intermittent fasting diet which involves fasting for 16 hours and only 8 hours for eating. Most of the time while I was training I was also doing a job in night shift. Which is the most difficult thing to manage. I had to manage the diet, work and gym sessions along with giving up on all delicious foods. There was hardly time in life to rest. Morning 3 hours gym followed with office and work and sleep for 6 hours. Repeat the same. This only makes me stronger and stronger.
TNV: What makes you feel you should be the chosen one? What’s different about you as a contestant?
SZ: I feel my attitude my down to earth nature. I have seen life in all aspects as a model as a working professional and as a student in the college. I carry that experience of dealing with different situations and different set of people and I’m very confident with my communication skills. I have spontaneous thinking to a specific situation. I would be suitable to represent our country because of my humble attitude, my communication skills and my looks. For me I believe Mr India is someone who should be a role model to all youngsters and guide them to be a true gentleman.
TNV: How will winning the Mr. India pageant will going to affect your life?
SZ: Winning Mr India is the biggest honor anyone can receive. As we get to represent our mother land internationally. It would completely change my life in a way giving me widespread big opportunities that I always dreamt off. Winning the title would give me a association with the most respectable organization in the Nation “Rubaru group” Working in association with such respectable organization would be a dream come true.
TNV: What are your view an thought for cause camping of save girl child how you will educated to stop this in our country ?
SZ: A women is a pride of nation. So I would say running camps spreading awareness programs to save girl child needs to be effectively run. I would specially run multiple campaigns in small villages towns or districts to educate people that how important it is to save a girl child. Infact the first person to reach the moon was a girl from India. Kalpana chawla. So I would be Keen on camping for save girl child or women empowerment.
